Jospehine Kennedy Miletti, 83, of Smithfield, NC, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Taylor Extended Care in Sea Level, NC of natural causes.
A viewing will be held 1:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm.
Josephine Kennedy Miletti was born in Johnston County in 1927, one of 15 children of the late John William Kennedy and Annie Lee Taylor Kennedy. She was the the last surviving sibling of her family. She loved to crochet and make all kinds of handicrafts. She loved the ocean and enjoy taking walks along the beach or on the pier. During her walks she would collect shells along the beach.
She is survived by her son, Michael Miletti and daughter, Cheryl Siebert of Los Angeles, California; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Many of her nieces and newphews live in the various parts of North Carolina.
The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the staff at Taylor Extended Care for their support.
