Joseph Morris Stevens

Joseph Morris Stevens, 49, of Morehead City, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Carolina East Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Joseph loved being on the ocean and found great satisfaction in his work as an offshore fisherman.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Deanna Stevens; brother, David Gordan Stevens; grandchildren, William, Malachi, Mia; and special friend Renell Johnson; niece and nephew, Rachel and David.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Viola Hatfield and father, Morris Tankard Stevens.
