Joseph Howard

Joseph Howard, 80, of Newport, passed away Sunday, July 1­, 2018 at Carteret Health Care.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Amariah Garner Cemetery, officiated by Reverend Gurganus.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Howard, of the home; son, Rodney Howard and wife, Charlotte, of Morehead City; brother, Tommy Howard of Colorado Springs, CO; and grandchildren, Rylie Brooke Howard and Charles “Charlie” Joseph Howard.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lonnie and Rosalyn Howard; brothers, Lionel Howard and Nicky Howard.
