Joseph W. "Joe" Hill

Joseph W. “Joe” Hill, 90, of Newport, passed away Friday, May 25­, 2018 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City, officiated by Reverend Brad Smith. Interment will be private.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Hill of the home; daughter, Joyce H. Graham and husband, Ricky, of Mill Creek; and sons, Bruce Hill and wife, Ginger, of Lexington, Larry Hill and wife, Kim, of Newport. Grandchildren, Laura Kahn, Tabitha Wallace, Joseph Graham, Amanda Wilmoth, John Hill, Jackie Rowe; and great-grandchildren, Thomas, Garrett, Stanley, Ayden, Chloe and Collins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Hattie Hill, and his sisters, Rena Mae Bell and Vivian Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Cape Carteret Baptist Church at 101 Anita Forte Dr, Cape Carteret, NC 28584 or the Crystal Coast Hospice House at 100 Big Rock Weigh, Newport, NC 28570.
