Joseph William Betz, 61, of Cape Carteret, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sally White officiating.
He is survived by his wife Judith Betz of Cape Carteret; a son William "Bill" Betz of Cape Carteret : mother Patricia Osborne of Morehead City; two sisters Rebecca Betz of Virginia, and Elizabeth Betz of Cedar Point; niece Wendy Storck and husband Kenny of Currituck; great nephew Skyler Crawford and wife Beth of Oklahoma; and great nieces Meagan and Marina Storck of Currituck.
He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Herman Betz.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
