Jose Martinez Moreno

Jose Martinez Moreno, 45, of Hubert, passed away Friday, November 16­, 2018, at New River Air Station.

His funeral service, with military honors, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Swansboro United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Scott Dodson.

Jose was a member of Swansboro United Methodist Church. He honorably served in the United States Navy where he retired from.

He is survived by his daughter, Maya Renee Moreno, of Hubert; sons, Jose Angel Bernal of Racine, WI, Jose Martinez Moreno, Jr. of Lone Rock, WI, William Sessa of Hubert and Adrain Sessa of Hubert; mother, Rita Martinez Moreno of Mission, TX; sister, Dulce Martinez of Edinburg, TX; brothers, Alfonso Martinez Moreno of Mexico and Genaro Fuentes of Penitias, TX; and 3 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Paniagua.

Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Swansboro United Methodist Church.
