John Strange

John D. Strange, Jr., 76, of Havelock, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern .
Mr. Strange was a member of the FRA, VFW, NRA and the Genealogical Society. He was a veteran and served with the USMC during the Vietnam War.
Services will be held 11 am Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm Monday in Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice A. Strange; sons, Scott J. Strange of Princeton, NC, Steven W. Strange of Mishawaka, IN, Charles Edward Strange of Marion, IN and Mark Joseph Strange of Raleigh; daughters, Cheryl Strange and Linda R. Strange, both of South Bend, IN; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
The family will receive friends 4:00 - 6:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
