John Rimmer, 66, of Beaufort, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Salter Path United Methodist Church with Rev. David Bratton and Rev. Clyde Cheezem officiating. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens.
John retired from Carteret General Hospital. He enjoyed fishing and wood work.
He is survived by his wife Sherry Rimmer of the home; one son Jonathan Rimmer of the home; and three brothers Sam Rimmer, Danny Rimmer, and David Rimmer of Beaufort
He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Madeline Rimmer, and a sister Frances Mabe
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
