John Patrick Parnin, 51, of Newport, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center.
The family will hold a memorial service 2:00 pm Tuesday at Reece's Chapel with Rev. Winkie Chadwick officiating.
John is survived by parents Patricia and Gerald Parnin, Sr.: two daugthers Candi Richardson of Newport, and Ashley Parnin of Morehead City; two sons John Parnin, II, of Greenville, and Justin Parnin of Greenville: one grandson Logan Richardson; six sisters Bonnie Cole of Alabama, Brenda Streeter of Alabama, Sharon Bush of Louisiana, Danni Lynn Rhodes of Arkansas, Carla Parnin of Rhode Island, and Marie Pendleton of Massachusetts; and four brothers Lonnie Rhodes of Virginia, Gerry Parnin of Virginia, Frank Parnin of Connecticut, and John Raffler, Jr., of Arizona.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
