John Anthony Pallotti, 58, of Newport, died Saturday at his home.
Mr. Pallotti retired from the US Postal Service after 35 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and was enjoying his retirement at the beach.
He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Valdes and husband Silvio of Roxbury, NJ; a son, John Pallotti II and wife Erin of Newport; father Charles Pallotti of Clinton, NJ; brothers Charles Pallotti of Clinton, NJ and Eddie Pallotti of Toms River, NJ; three granddaughters, Sierra, Morgan and Jalen Valdes; one grandson, Trey Pallotti and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Johns memory to the Take a Kid Fishing Foundation, attention: Teresa Holcombe, PO Box 1191, Morehead City, NC 28557.
A memorial service will be held at Condon Funeral Home, 684 Kearny Ave, Kearny, NJ on June 1 from 10 am - 11:30 am. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 11:30 with a repass immediately following.
