John Irvin O'shall, 73, of Williston, died Friday November 16, 2012 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral will be held 11:00 am Monday at Williston United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Lane Cemetery.
John served in the US Coast Guard for 20 years, and in 1980 gained employment with NARF at Cherry Point, then retired after 24 years of service. He was a member of the Crissie Wright Masonic Lodge, was also a Shriner.
He is survived by a son Johnny O'shall of Williston: and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 Sunday at Williston UMC.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 930-B Wellness Dr. Greenville, NC 27834.
