John Mosier

John Mosier, 62, of Newport, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill.

John was born on June 12, 1960, in Delaware Township, New Jersey, to the late Robert Harry Mosier and Jill Elizabeth Mosier. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy, whether they were fishing together or just enjoying each other's company, it was always special. He enjoyed hunting with his son and loved to umpire and coach his children's sports teams. John's kind, caring and selfless personality was seen throughout his life. Volunteering at the hospital or with the Habitat for Humanity Restore, John was a blessing to all who knew him.

Those remaining to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Lisa Mosier; daughter, Stephanie Mosier and husband William Drabic Jr. of Pennsylvania; son, Chris Mosier of New Jersey; brother, Karl Mosier and wife Barb of New Jersey; and grandchildren, Jill and John.
