John "Bill" Mollett, 80, of Beaufort , passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at First Free Will Baptist Church in Beaufort with Rev. Richard Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Smith and husband Buddy of Beaufort; four grandchildren, Melissa Smith, Clinton Smith, Marlee Aguon and John Gabriel "Gabe" Aguon; six great-grandchildren, Jasmine Lofton, Ethen Smith, Caleb Smith, Tyler Fogle, John Rylee Fogle and Evelynn Smith; and his companion, Linda Brown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Mollett, and daughter, Martha Aguon.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
