John Lane Lewis, 87, of Harkers Island, passed away March 21, 2016 at his home.
His funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City with Rev. Ralph Feree and Rev. Nathan Silver officiating. Interment will follow at the Armecia Lewis Cemetery in Harkers Island.
He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Lewis; brother, Denny Lewis and wife Barbara; sister, Kay Guthrie; grandchildren, Angela Grotzinger and Charlie Davis; and a very special nephew, Tim Gillikin.
He was proceed in death by his wife, Estelle Lewis; parents, Johnie and Helen Lewis; step-son, Charles Davis; and sister, Fay Gillikin.
The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
