John Eugene Lavene, 86 , of Morehead City, died Friday April 27, 2012 at Harborview Nursing Facility.
The family will conduct a memorial service 2:00 pm Thursday at Crystal Bluffs.
He is survived by a daughter Deborah Joyce McCain and husband Jerry of Morehead City, and a son Jack Lavene of New Washington, IN: grandchildren Tracey Lang of Charleston, SC, Jolena Lavene of Clarksville, Ind, and Jaclyn Lavene of Clarksville, Ind.: sisters Jane Burkette of Palm City, FL., and Helena Ausley of Malabar, FL: brother Charlie Lavene of Eaton Town, NJ: and his loving friends from Crystal Bluffs.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army PO Box 305 Morehead City, NC 28557.
