John W. Hill, 72, of Williston, passed away, Sunday, March 2, 2014 at his home.
The family will have a private graveside service on Wednesday.
Mr. Hill served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, and he retired from civil service at Cherry Point.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Lewis and husband Mark of the home; son, Jamie Hill and wife Crystal of Beaufort; sister, Wanda Willis of Harkers Island; brother, Ernest Hill of Beaufort; and grandson, Walker Hill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Gibbs Hill, his parents, Ulysses and Harriett Hill and brother, Wilbur Hill.
The visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Davis Free Will Baptist Church, 279 Community Rd, Davis, NC 28524 or Calvary Baptist Church, 119 Bunch Rd, Beaufort, NC 28516.
