John Wallace Fulcher, Sr.

John Wallace Fulcher, Sr., 74, of Morehead City, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, October 13, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Temple Baptist Church of Morehead City with Rev. Terry Johnson and Rev. Ronald Howland officiating. Interment will follow at Styron Family Cemetery in Sea Level.
John served his country for over seven years active duty in the United States Coast Guard, plus years of Reserve Duty. He was employed as a civil service employee for 32 years, and was the owner of The Landing RV Park. He loved to fish, hunt, garden, and keep up with old friends on facebook.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patsy Phillips Fulcher of the home; two sons John Fulcher, Jr. and wife, Beth of Sea Level, and Jarrod Fulcher and wife, Tiffany of Stella; a daughter, Tara Fulcher of Newport; grandchildren, Brooke Dixon, John Wallace Fulcher III, Trevor Shane Fulcher, Alexa Baynton, Emily Baynton, Dominick Balboni, Ty Miller, Sophie Balboni, Bailey Fulcher, Jacob Fulcher, and Tristan Fulcher; great grandchild, Malachi Johnson; sisters, Sadie Hill of Southport, Violet Swinson of Morehead City, Colleen Krupa of Sea Level, and Junie Carter of Matthews; and sidekick "Rebel" and baby girl "Coco".
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Vivian Fulcher, brothers, Warden Fulcher, and Garland Fulcher, and baby sisters.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
