John Allen Deskins, 73, of Emerald Isle,NC passed away, Monday, August 11, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
The family will conduct a memorial service at 11:00 am Friday at Swansboro United Methodist Church, where John was a member. Dr. Ed Gunter will officiate the service.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Turman Deskins of the home;
three daughters, Toni Deskins Meadows and her husband Toby Meadows of Emerald Isle,NC, Suzanne Leigh Deskins of Bethlehem, GA and Lori Ann Deskins of Ashburn, VA; also six grandchildren, Maggie Meadows and Caleb Meadows, Chris Dills, John Dills and Catherine Dills, and Annabella Gil.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Swansboro United Methodist Church, 665 W. Corbett Ave, Swansboro, NC 28584.
