John Edmond Day, 67, of Morehead City, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at his home.
A private service will be held by the family.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Day of the home; daughter, Tracy Pruitt and husband, Christian of Pine Knoll Shores; son, John D. Day of Morehead City; sister, Linda Duffin of Morehead City; brothers, Richard Day and wife, Ellen of Morehead City, Thomas Day and wife, Brenda of Newport; sister-in-law, Sharon Smith and husband, Lewis of Newport; grandchildren, Sara Beck and Sadie Pruitt; many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Mary Day.
