John Chase

John Milton Chase, 81, of Vanceboro passed away on Thursday March 24, 2016 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
He was an avid fisherman, loved gardening, woodworking and spending time with his family. He especially loved his antique 1932 Farmall Tractor.
He is survived by three daughters, Laura Daszynicz and husband Mike of Union City, PA, Kelly Wiesen and husband Gary of Waterford, PA and Roberta Hall and husband Tom of Ernul, NC; two sons, Lonnie Chase of Corry, PA and Alan Chase and wife Lisa of Vanceboro, NC; sisters Patsy Bedow of Waterford, Pa, Marge Ormsbee of Waterford, Pa and Marion Falconer of Meadville, PA; and two brothers, William Chase of Union City, PA and Donald “Butch” Chase of Cambridge Springs, PA also 16 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Ruth Ann Chase; his parents, Milton and Vera Chase; brothers James Chase, Robert Chase and Raymond Chase.
