John Todd Carbee

John Todd Carbee, 91, of Pine Knoll Shores, NC died Sunday, July 10, 2011 at his residence.
Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday at the Morehead City Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Samuel Rollings presiding. Interment will follow on Friday at 2:00 pm at the Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, NC.
Mr. Carbee was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Bogue Banks Country Club. He was an avid golfer and played tennis. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Merrill of Annandale, VA and Susan Stell Carbee of Suffolk, VA; son, John Todd Carbee, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Essie Stell Carbee and parents, John Arthur Carbee and Kathleen Iva Todd Carbee.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
