John Henry Brown III

John Henry Brown III, 32, of Havelock, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at Forest Oaks Memorial Gardens, officiated by Father Bill Upah. Friends are welcome to attend the service. However, in order to provide social distancing, we ask friends to remain in their cars, the service will be broadcasted through a sound system. For those unable to attend, the family invites you to view the webcasting of the service through Munden Funeral Home’s website. Friends are also encouraged to leave words of comfort to the family through the website.

John was a loving son, brother and uncle to his family. He loved playing soccer all through his life. John would give you anything that you needed if he had it, he was always very generous.

He is survived by his parents, John Henry Brown, Jr. and Martha Nacelewicz Brown of Havelock; sisters, Rose Brown and husband John Terrell of Havelock, Grace Pettit and husband Shaun of Fredericksburg, VA and Maggie Metz and husband Josh of TN; brothers, Damian Brown and wife Lisa of Clemmons, NC, Peter Brown and companion Katelyn Hage of Havelock, Matthew Brown of Fredericksburg, VA and Dominic Brown and wife Katherine of Houston, TX; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
