Joel D. Cantor - Memorial Service
Joel D. Cantor, 82, of Pine Knoll Shores, died on March 18, 2014, at Carteret General Hospital.
The family and church will conduct a memorial service at 11 am, on Saturday, June 14th at Glad Tidings Church, the Senior Pastor Tim Marriner presiding.
Mr. Cantor was born at home, in the Bronx, New York, to Hyman and Rosemary Cantor. He was and Executive Chef in numerous restaurants throughout his life and owner of three.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Cantor; daughter Elizabeth Cantor, Daughter-in-law, Janet Cantor Loguercio and husband, two stepsons Steven T. Tell and Michael W. Tell and their wives; and five grandchildren: Jayna Cantor Clooney and husband, of Boston Mass, Ms. Lauren Cantor of Boston, Mass, David L. Cantor lll, of Hawthorne, NY, Regan K. Tell of Newport, NC and Sarah E. Tell of Atlantic Beach, NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Son - David L. Cantor, Brother- Robert Cantor, Sisters: Ruth Cantor, Doris Mayer, Betty Ann Cantor.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service and following the service.
