JOAN DICKENS
Joan Dickens, 80, of Morehead City, NC, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held 6:30 pm Wednesday at Grace Presbyterian Church, Hwy 70 East in Beaufort.
Mrs. Dickens was born November 9, 1930 in Bronx, New York. She relocated from Brooklyn, NY to North Carolina twelve years ago to be with her family. She had lived at Summerset Court in Newport, and recently resided at Harbor View in Morehead City. She loved music and dancing and found comfort in her Christianity.
She was mother to Kathy Russell, Joann Isberg-Pensabene, Constance, Jennifer and Martin Isberg.
Her greatest joy was being Grandma to Matthew, Melissa, Emile, Erich, Brian and Laura.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Brantman, Bronx NY.
