Jessie P. Svangren, 99, of Beaufort, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Heritage Health Care at Taylor Place.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Live Oak Grove Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Jessie attended Russells Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, William Prentice of the home; step-son, Robert Svangren and wife Mickie of Kennewick, WA; step-daughter, Peggy Welch and husband, Wayne of Virginia Beach, VA; two nephews, James Small and wife Loretta of Jacksonville and William Small and wife Doris of Mill Creek; niece, Gracie Garner of Mill Creek; seven step-grandchildren; also numerous grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Edmond Prentice in 1967 and her second husband, John Svangren in 1992.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 7:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
