Jessie Monroe Culpepper

Jessie Monroe Culpepper, 78, of Beaufort, went to be with his Lord on Friday, December 7, 2018, at Carteret Health Care, surrounded by his family.

His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Reece’s Chapel Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. James Chadwick. Interment will follow at the Chadwick Family Cemetery.

He honorably served our country in the National Guard for over 6 years. Jessie worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass for over 10 years where he was a truckdriver and winder operator.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mrs. Ann Culpepper, of the home; daughter’s Mila Sullivan and husband, Eli, of Jacksonville, Michelle Sadler and companion, Kent Gray, of Atlantic; son, Billy Arthur of Goldsboro; 2 special sons, Zack Westfall and Jessie Westfall, both of the home; sister, Sadie Cribb of Newport; brothers, Joe Culpepper of Mill Creek and Charles “Piggy” Culpepper of LaGrange; grandkids, William Arthur, Jessica Arthur, Krystal Anne Connelly, Cathrine Danizio, Annie Anthony, Joshua Arthur, Jay Spatilson, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Emily Arthur, Eli Arthur, Nathen Arthur, Charles Arthur, Daniel Connelly, Hayden Anthony, Jaelyn Arthur; furry companion, Peanut; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews,

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Nannie Culpepper; father, Mr. Otis Culpepper, Sr.; sisters, Mary Chadwick, Lena May Locklear; brothers, Otis Culpepper, Jr., Nick Culpepper, Billy Culpepper, Ben Culpepper and R.L. Culpepper.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Reece’s Chapel Baptist Church.
