Jesse Morton

Jesse Ray Morton, 59, of Newport, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Carolina East Medical Center.

Services will be private.

Jesse was  a “Jack of all trades” with a quick smile and a generous heart. He loved his family and loved to ride his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife, “Penny” Ruth Dowdy Morton of the home; daughter, Kelly Anise King of Washington; son, Patrick Scot Duncan of Olive Branch, MS; sister, Bea Best of Newport; grandchildren, Isaac, Dalton, Nickolas, Gabriel, Scot, Seth, Eric, Sara, and Shelby; and a nephew, Chris Best.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Daniel Morton and Gladys Gillikin Morton.
