Jerry E. Taylor, Sr., 69, of Newport died Thursday February 16, at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 pm Saturday at Broad Creek Church of God with the Rev. Wesly Holmes officiating.
Jerry was a member of the Broad Creek Church of God.
He is survived by his wife Laverne Taylor of the home: two sons Jerry E. Taylor of Newport, and Richard Taylor of Newport: three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Sydney Taylor.
Visitation will be one hour prior.
