Jerry Kent McCain

Jerry Kent McCain, 66, of Morehead City, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

There will be a Celebration of Life service, with military honors, at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Morehead City, officiated by Reverend Jerry Johnson.

Jerry loved his work at the Navel Depot (NADEP) in Cherry Point and after retirement maintained the many friendships he made during his time there. He was the owner and operator of Dolphin Waves Lawn Care where he thoroughly enjoyed his work. His favorite place to be was on his lawn mower. Jerry was a very friendly man that never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah McCain, of the home; father, J.C. McCain of Pensacola, FL; mother, Janelle McCain of Morehead City; brothers, Mike McCain of Ocean Spring, MS and twin brother, Jack McCain of Pensacola, FL; many aunts and cousins; and special friends, Mac, BJ, and Bob.
