Jerry W. Fesmire

Jerry W. Fesmire, 61, of Pine Knoll Shores, died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital.
Mr. Fesmire was a Captain with US Airways since 1981. He had a great passion for fishing and flying.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday at Edward Hill Friends Church. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday at Joyce-Brady Funeral Home in Bennett, NC. The family will schedule a memorial service at a later date in Morehead City.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Gordon Fesmire of the home; mother, Kathryn Fesmire of Bear Creek; daughter, Terri Fesmire-Kennedy and husband Jimmy of Newport; sisters, Sandy Oldham and husband Marty of Bear Creek and Cathy Layton of Liberty; brother, Johnny Fesmire and wife Teresa of Charlotte; several nieces and nephews, and his devoted comfort dog, Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristy Fesmire.
