Jerrie Jones

Jerrie Jones, 65, of New Bern, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Pruitt Health-Neuse in New Bern.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Life Point Church, officiated by Rev. Ray Conner.

She was a member of Life Point Church.

She is survived by her daughters, April Holycross McCall of Riverside, CA and Linzey Witherup of Newport; son, Donald Holycross, Jr. of California; parents, Walter and Margaret Majewsky of Newport; sisters, Diana Zambory of Newport, Annette Jones of Vanceboro; Wendy Gossage of Rockingham, and Annette “Robin” Caseman of Newport; brother, Daniel Peart of Newport; also nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Benny.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the service at Life Point Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the family, checks can be made payable to Kristian Griffis and sent to Linzey Witherup at 166 Mann Blvd., Newport, NC 28570.
