Jeremy Tyson Aycock, 37, of Swansboro, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021.
His memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
Jeremy was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, on May 18, 1984, to Robert and Julia Aycock. Earning his living as a fisherman, Jeremy was perfectly at home on the open waters. The calming sound of the waves and the feeling of accomplishment when he caught his best catch were worth each trip out. He was proud to have his Seaman Certificate and considered it a joy to be able to do what he loved.
Jeremy was as honest and real as could possibly be, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and was happy to volunteer with multiple organizations. More than anything, Jeremy treasured his family, especially his only daughter, Alysa Kay Aycock who he adored.
In addition to his daughter, Jeremy is survived by his mother, Julia Davis Aycock; sister, Roxanne Hill and husband Clay; brothers, Shane Aycock and significant other Stephanie, and Robert Aycock, Jr. and wife Jessica; nieces and nephews, Elexis Rodriguez and husband Richard, Aerial Inman, Gage Aycock, Nathan Aycock; and beloved little dog, Little Bit.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his father in 2012, Robert Timothy Aycock Sr.
