Jennie Schuyler

Jennie Lynn Schuyler, 73, of Morehead City, passed away on Sunday, August 1, at her home.

Her family will hold a private memorial service.

Jennie was born on August 3, 1947, she attended Brougton High School in Raleigh. She started her nursing career at Carteret Health before earning her Masters in Nursing from East Carolina University. Her nursing career was vast, she was the Director of Nursing at many facilities including Jo Ellen Hospital in New Orleans, LA. She had a great love for New Orleans. She would start each day with a cup of coffee. Jennie was a private person who loved watching sports, more than anything she loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons; Michael Sharp of Morehead City and Jason Sharp and wife Nikki of Brevard; sister, Alexis Munden and husband Dennis of Morehead City; and her grandchildren, Makayla Penton (Spencer) of Havelock, Savannah Sharp of Morehead City and Eva Rose Sharp of Brevard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ida Schuyler.
