Jeffery Lyon Swain, 61, of Beaufort passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Monday, November 23, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Villegas officiating.
Jeff had a huge heart, and was always looking out for others before himself. He loved Golf, Duck Hunting, Fishing, and Duke Basketball and was an avid Duke Fan.
He is survived by his wife, his soul mate, love of his life and “she’s got a way about her” Candace Swain of the home; one daughter, Jillian Swain of the home and significant other Brianna Lietuvninkas; two grandchildren, Charlie “Trey “Ray Ward III, Rebecca “Becca” Ivory Bailey; mother, Naida Lyon Swain; one brother, Richard Burton Swain of Newport; one nephew, William Ellis Swain III; three nieces, Meredith Swain, Lori Elizabeth Haynes and Sarah Swain; His faithful companion Duke’s Cameron Crazy.
He was preceded by his father, William Ellis Swain; one brother, William Ellis Swain Jr; one sister, Lynette Swain Morgan.
