Jeffery Choate

Jeffery Choate, 52, of Newport, passed away Saturday, April 13­, 2019, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

His memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Life Point Church, officiated by Pastor Ray Conner.

He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed golfing and camping with his family. He will be remembered as an honest and hardworking business owner who was admired by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Lynne Choate of the home; son, Michael Choate of the home; step-son, David Mattison, Jr. of Asheville; mother, Alberta Choate of Beaufort; father, Johnny Choate of Oklahoma; sisters, Sherry Dean of Beaufort and Tina Willis of Newport; and brothers David Choate and wife Sandy of Newport and Johnny Choate of Beaufort; and half-brother, Eddie Choate of Oklahoma.
