Jean Ellen Robbins Johnson, 72, of Newport, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Vidant Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 7:30 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Fields officiating.
She was a Past Worthy Matron in the Order of the Eastern Star Chp. 184 in Virginia Beach, VA.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Sidney Johnson of the home; three children, Robin Gracia and husband John of Lawrenceville, GA, Jennifer Spears of High Point, and Thomas Turner and wife Carola of Howell, MI: sister Anne R. Casas of Chesapeake, VA, and brother William T. Robbins of Cleveland, GA: grandchildren John Nicholas Gracia, Katy Gracia, Markus Turner, Lukas Turner, Anthony Spears, Rebecca Weddle, and Andrew Weddle: great grandchild Michael Hall: nieces Beth Rotelli of Ashburn, VA, and Valerie Robbins of Cumming, GA.
The family will receive friends 6:00-7:30 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Hope Lodge 930-B Wellness Dr., Greenville, NC 27834.
