Jeanane Murdoch Rhodes

Jeanane Murdoch Rhodes, 52, of Newport, passed away Friday, June ­1­, 2018 at her home.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Wildwood Presbyterian Church, officiated by Pastor Robbie Phillips. Interment will be at Wildwood Community Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother, Pansy Murdoch of Wildwood; daughters, Trinity Shepard and husband, Travis, of New Bern, Rhiannon Rhodes of the home; son, Kody Rhodes and wife, Brooke Johnson, of Hickory; brother, Richard Murdoch and wife, Joan Carol, of Newport; and grandchildren, Cooper Shepard, Jakob Shepard, William Johnson and Waylon Rhodes.

She was preceded in death by her father, William A. Murdoch and brother, Billy Murdoch.

Flowers or food will be accepted at the church on the day of the service.
