Jean Rose

Jean Alexander Rose, resident of Snug Harbor on Nelson Bay in Sea Level, NC, died peacefully on July 13, 2010. She was born on February 28, 1921 in Warren, PA. Jean was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her entire family. Jean was married for over sixty years to Oliver Creech Rose who preceeded her in death in 2005. Jean and Creech leave behind three sons, Michael and wife Susan of Morehead City, NC; Patrick and wife Sandy of Atlantic Beach, FL; and Christopher of New Smyna Beach, FL. Jean and Creech took great pride in their threee sons, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. They were especially appreciative of the love and care they received from their extended family at Snug Harbor. Active for decades in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, FL, Jean and Creech led a life filled with love for each other, love for their family, and love for their Church. A memorial serivce will be held at 11:00 on Friday, July 16th at Snug Harbor. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Snug Harbor Employee's Fun in the memory of Jean Rose.
