Jason Taylor

Jason Taylor, 40, of Havelock, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 28th, at Taylor Cemetery in Harlowe.

Jason was born on September 21, 1982, in Morehead City, North Carolina to John and Faye Taylor. Growing up in Harlowe, Jason graduated with the Class of 2000 from Havelock High School and was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. Jason worked faithfully with the Town of Morehead City in the Water Department for 15 years.

Sports were a big part of Jason's life, he was a huge fan of the New York Giants, UNC Tarheels and Atlanta Braves. Not only did he enjoy watching sports, but he also enjoyed playing golf and basketball. Growing up near the coast meant that he always enjoyed a good fishing day on his uncle's dock.

He is survived by his father, John Taylor and brother, David Taylor, both of North Harlowe.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Faye Taylor.
