Janice Hunt Moore

Janice Hunt Moore, 70, of Morehead City passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. Nate Leonard. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park

Janice was a member at First Baptist Church in Morehead City where she enjoyed the fellowship of her friends in the Prayer Shawl Ministry. She was also a member of the Ladies Golf Association at the Morehead City Country Club. She retired from Cherry Point and EDS as a computer Specialist.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce Hunt Creech and husband Douglas of Morehead City; brother, Raymond Charles Hunt and wife Mabel of Yadkinville; nephews, Joseph Brian Creech and wife Becky, R. Charles Hunt Jr., Randall Keith Hunt and wife Geraldine, Kevin Ramsey Hunt and wife Tara; great niece, McKensey A. Hunt; and great-nephews, Seth Alexander Creech, Julian Hunt and Remington Hunt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas N. Moore and parents, Charles and Lillian Hunt.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home.
