Janice Maire (Clement) Markezich

Janice Marie Markezich, 56, of Newport, died Wednesday January 23, 2013 at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bryan Hart.
Janice made her mark in life by being a generous and caring person, which continued even after life by choosing to be an organ donor.
She is survived by two daughters Dr.© Anna Mezzaroba and husband Albert of Newport, and Carla Starnes and husband Jeff of Newport: two sons George Markezich and wife Ruth of Newport, and Carl Markezich and wife Kim of Havelock : seven grandchildren Christian Mezzaroba, Emma Mezzaroba, Katelyn Starnes, George Markezich, Jr., Josalyne Markezich, Avery Markezich, and Rylee Markezich: and four sisters Laura Hallock of Lexington, LA, Carliss Knesel of Metairie, LA, Robyn Helmstetter of Metairi, LA, and Renee Jordano of Norco, LA.
She was preceded in death by her son Mark Christian Markezich.
Visitation will follow the service on Tuesday.
