Janice was born on March 29, 1939, in Glennville, Georgia, to the late Otis and Gladys Harrell. A woman of deep faith, Janice lived her life by exemplifying the fruits of the spirit. Janice’s late husband, Dr. Cason, served as a pastor for over 68 years, serving locally at First Free Will Baptist Church in Morehead City for 20 of those years. Janice loved Precious Moment figurines and always enjoyed adding to her beautiful collection. She also had a particular fondness for lighthouses, and her collection reflected this love. In her free time, she enjoyed doing puzzles, always ready for a new challenge.
