Jane "Janie" Frances Allen

Jane “Janie” Frances Allen, 72, of Peletier, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at her home.

The family will hold a private celebration at a later date.

Janie was born on November 23, 1948, in Akron, Ohio, to the late James and Deloris Blucker. She was blessed to spend 50 amazing years with the love of her life, her devoted husband Bill. Janie was a dedicated accountant with First Energy where she worked 42 years. In her younger years she enjoyed travelling and cooking. Janie’s family was the anchor of her life and they meant more to her than anything.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Allen of the home; son, William Allen and wife Jennifer of Delaware, OH; sisters, Katherine Nitz and husband Paul of Doylestown, OH, Mary Varner of Massillon, OH and Diane Haught and husband Roger of Medina, OH; brothers, James Blucker and wife Nancy of North Canton, OH and Michael Blucker and wife Susan of Lebanon, OH; grandchildren, Will Allen and Cole Allen, both of Delaware, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in memory of Janie, may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
