Jane Rubin, 77, of Newport, died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at her home.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tom Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Jane owned and operated Newport Pharmacy with her husband for over 25 years, and Newport Florist. She was a member of Eastern Star, Newport Garden Club, and Newport Moose Lodge.
She is survived by five daughters Jane Zuaboni of Wilmington, Suzanne Warren of Newport, Jenna Franz and husband Chris of Georgia, Jerri Burts and husband Clay of Jacksonville, and Jackie Landen of Wichita, KS; two sons Michael Rubin and wife Heather of Orlando, FL, and Joshua Rubin of Newport; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren;
She was preceded in death by her husband Seymour Rubin, a daughter Joanna Catherine Rubin, a son in-law John Warren, a brother Homer Wellons, and her parents
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home.
