Jane M. Broadstreet, 94, of Morehead City, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Chaplain Rick Brooks.
She retired from civil service at Cherry Point after 20 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, and was an avid Bridge player, achieving Gold Life Master status. She and her husband owned and operated Mariner Lanes Bowling Alley, which was the first bowling alley in Morehead City.
She is survived by her husband of over 61 years, George Broadstreet, III of the home; daughter, Bobbi Ledbetter of Greenville, SC; sons, George Broadstreet, IV of Newport, Robert Nelson Prince of Naples, FL, Richard Lee Broadstreet of Newport, and Glen Broadstreet and wife Danielle of Summerfield; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas McKinney and Georgia Swindell.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home.
