Jane Briley
October 6, 1947 — April 29, 2016
Jane Lancaster Briley, 68, of Atlantic Beach, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Carteret Health Care.
A celebration of life service will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Country Club of the Crystal Coast at Pine Knoll Shores.
Jane grew up in Kinston and graduated from Grainger High School. She also worked many years at Wachovia Bank, and retired to her dream place at the beach. Jane enjoyed cross-stitching and would make many things for her friends and relatives.
She is survived by her husband of the home, Eddie Briley; daughter, Ashley Fox and husband Chris; son, Ray Burroughs; brother, Gordon Lancaster and wife Sharron; brother in-law, Brantley Briley and wife Eugenia; grandchildren, Noah and Jacks Fox, and Morgan Burroughs; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved chocolate lab, Tucker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bishop Cleveland and Virginia Lancaster; and brother, Larry Lancaster.
The family would also like to thank some very special friends, Janet and Marshall Roberts; Jane and Everet Cameron; Sandy and Bob Stiehl; and Annette Faulker.
