James "Jimmy" R. Day III

James “Jimmy” R. Day III, 55, of Havelock, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at his home.

Jimmy was born on November 9, 1967, in Raleigh, North Carolina, to James and Joyce Day. He was the ultimate carpenter and excelled at his woodworking skills. He will be missed as a loving father and son.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce P. Day of Raleigh; son, Matthew Lewis of the home; brother, Charles Day (Laurie) of Pittsboro, North Carolina; and his precious pups.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, James Reginald Day Jr.
