James "Jimmy" Boone

James “Jimmy” Michael Boone, 41, of Newport, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 3, 2017, at Munden Funeral Home Chapel in Morehead City with Reverend Brian Recker officiating.
Jimmy was always known for being such a devoted father to his daughter, Chloe. They truly had a special bond. He was her superhero and will always love her “to infinity and beyond”.
He is survived by his wife, Jamie Boone of the home; daughter, Chloe May Boone of the home; parents, Larry and Molly Boone of Hillsborough; parent in-laws, James and Linda Willis of Newport; sister, Lynn Williamson and husband Jay of Durham; brother, Joey Boone and wife Patty of Newport; step-father, Robbie Cook of Cape Carteret; step-brother, Jay Wilson and wife Jennifer of Hillsborough; nieces, Jolee Boone, and Jenna Wilson; nephews, Cameron Boone, Jacob Wilson, and Noah Wilson; his furry companions, Gambit, Wilbur, and Flame; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Cook.
