James "Jim" Randolph Ridgeway

James "Jim" Ridgeway, 60, of Harkers Island, died Monday, September 16, 2013 at Carteret General Hospital.

Jim was a commercial fisherman in Massachusetts, and Beaufort. He spent time in the Virgin Islands doing odd jobs on boats. He loved wood working and capentry.
He is survived by his mother Edith (Deta) Ridgeway of Harkers Island; sisters Marion Redmond and husband Charles of Beaufort, and Edie Ridgeway of Raleigh; three nieces, and three great nephews, and one great niece.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the OWLS (Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter) 100 Wildlife Way Newport, NC 28570.
