James "Jim" Henry Caudron, Jr.

James "Jim" Henry Caudron, Jr., 66, of New Bern, passed peacefully at home Thursday, February 26, 2015.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Broad Creek United Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Ball officiating.
Jim was an active member for 17 years at Broad Creek United Methodist Church. He retired Petty Officer 1st Class from the US Navy after 21 years of service. He spent most of his career on aircraft carriers maintaining helicopters and reconnaissance aircraft. He loved board games, cards, fishing, and socializing with the community, and he was active in politics. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Connie Morton Caudron of New Bern; mother Anna Cawley and husband Bill of Warrenton, Missouri; two daugthers Anna Lee Caudron of Newport, and Jo Hanna Ferguson and husband Sean of New Bern; a brother John Caudron and wife Debi of Florida; four sisters Sandra Wingrove of Illinois, Cheryl Winfield and husband Doug of Illinois, Susan Strauss and partner Paula of New York, and Marti Chenault and husband Scott of Illinois; grandchildren Anthony Coia, PJ Grandy, Lauren Grandy, Thomas Ferguson, and Katelyn Ferguson; and one great grandchild Bryson Grandy.
He was preceded in death by his father James Henry Caudron, Sr..
